First Fridays Youth Art Takeover
There are some fresh faces in Bendβs art scene, and during this monthβs First Friday Art Walk, they are getting the spotlight! Downtown Bend businesses will be hosting Bend-La Pine student artists as part of the 5th annual Youth Art Takeover, showcasing work that spans from painting and photography to sculpture and mixed media. And for the first time this year, musicians are joining the lineup with live performances.
The evening kicks off alongside the regular First Friday Artwalk, and includes an awards ceremony honoring standout student artists at 6:30pm in the Commons CafΓ© Courtyard. Participating locations will marked with balloons outside to guide your walk.
