All Aboard!

Michael the Train Man is back at the Downtown Library for his 25th year constructing an incredible miniature holiday train display. This is a fun event for kids of all ages and it’s a great outing with grandparents or out-of-town guests.

Hours:

🚂 Saturday @ 10:00am–12:30pm and 3:00–5:30pm
🚂 Sunday @ 10:00am–12:30pm and 3:00–5:30pm
(event continues through 12/28 if you can’t make it this weekend!)

What you need to know:

  • There will probably be a line. Last year it snaked through the children’s section, which is either a handy distraction or pure chaos if your kid is of the age where pulling books off shelves is just the best 🤪.

  • The last entrance for 10:00am-12:30pm viewings is at 12:15pm (be in line well before then!).

  • The last entrance for 3:00-5:30pm viewings is at 5:15pm.

🎅 Santa Sightings

Saturday: Santa is busy today! After making an appearance at the Trampoline Zone Toddler Party (9-11am), he’s off to his workshop at The Oxford Hotel for pictures and cookie decorating from 10am–2pm. Meanwhile, he will also be at Sister’s Depot for photos from 11am–2pm. To end the day, Santa and Mrs. Claus will be heading to the Midtown Yacht Club Maker’s Market around 1pm.

Sunday: After enjoying breakfast with the kiddos at Sister’s Depot (10am & 11:30am), Santa will be back at his workshop at The Oxford Hotel (10am–2pm), while Mrs. Claus hosts storytime in front of the grand fireplace at Sunriver Lodge (11am).

Additionally, SantaLand in the Old Mill will be open Friday-Sunday from 11am–5pm.
